Our senior center is offering nutrition classes for 8 weeks. At the end we can choose a free instant pot or an air fryer. I have an air fryer but I'm afraid of the pot.
If Rhoda can do it maybe I can too.

The previous owner of the instapot probably figured "this is stupid I can just boil water and cook rice" and donated the instapot to the thrift store. I'm not talking about me!

I bought a instant pot on sale about 4 months ago. I still haven't used it yet. I'm like you, I feel a little afraid of it. Lol I will start using it soon, hopefully. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿ‘โค๐Ÿ‘

Instant pot has a lot of built in safety features, you really can't go wrong as long as you follow the instructions. If the ones you got don't have the instructions you can get it on line.

I have a Cooks Country pressure pot that has a rice setting. My rice is completely done in 6 minutes. I use my pressure pot every week. It also has slow cooker setting and a browning setting. I really don't cook that much on my stove anymore!
