Hello new subbie here! I’m a drum lady. I call them my tree trunks 😂. I love my air fryer and I am so glad that we have it. I’m getting ready to cook some drummettes now.
I like the flats best, but I am an equal opportunity flat and drummie eater lol! And I have made wings by steaming and then baking in the oven and that works well too. But the air fryer is my favorite way to make them, it is far less work and cleanup lol
another option is to either steam the wings first or pressure cook them for a few minutes in an instant pot then air fry them.. get a very crispy wing

it's just a form of baking.
This made me hungry. I often make chicken in the air fryer. Usually just spray it with soy sauce. Once in a while, I'll dip it into the flour+salt+garlic+pepper fryer mix, spray a bit of oil to make it stick, and it turns out rather close to real fried chicken. Yum.

How do catch the fat so that you can clean the machine?
I airfry my wings @ 370degrees for 20 minutes (shaking @10 mins) and then finish them @ 400 degrees for another 10 mins and this crisps them up nicely!
