June set out to cook a whole week’s worth of meals for two on a $30 budget. The catch? There was a 30-minute time constraint on …
Food is definitely getting too expensive. So expensive we've started growing as much as we can. If we had a yard, I'd get chickens. A kilo of the cheapest beef mince used to be $7.50. it's now nearly $15. And cheap bread used to be 50c, now a $1.20
June, could you PRETTY please tell me where you purchased your metal egg flip tool? I used to have one from my grandmother who used it for like 40 years, then my mum used it & me. It died & yours looks the same. Im desperate to find one the same.
I just love junes relationship to food! So much appreciation, knowledge and lots of looooveee! thanks for always inspiring ❤
I want budget eats episode every week but it just makes me realize that it'd make June eat on budget the whole time 😅.
Also I prefer the normal kinda budget eats where June's not on time restraints cuz she's more creative and calm. This episode was great but just too much of beans n rice.
Budget Eats: Grilled
A summer staple for us is some type of grilled component or full meal to keep the heat of the oven and stove out of the house
How tired are you of doing this?
“Spork Tender!”
Probably one of my favorite June quotes of all time!
you should continue this series, delish!
JUNE THIS IS INCREDIBLE
You have left the other meal preppers in your dust! This is what meal prep should be. And, Fred doesn’t need to audition, he’s def star material!
June: single handedly making me not afraid of messing up cooking.
When I cooked before, I needed a recipe which I needed to follow-up religiously. June has taught me the fun in throwing things together and that even if it doesn't work, must things can be rescued.
Low key life changing stuff.
You always give me ideas. Thank you
That rice at the end. oh my goodness!!! Looks incredible
I love it!
WE LOVE JUNE!!! I love that June’s cooking isn’t necessarily focused on a recipe, but rather inspiring us to be creative and experimental!
I love you. I hope you never change. You are one of the best Chefs I've ever seen and still you are so down to earth. You deserve to be seen on every TV channel Nationwide. I hope I see you there talking and dressing just like you are in this video.
Heyyyyyy, I thought I was the only one who calls the little thing that drops when it's fully released of pressure a thing-a-ma-bobby lol
Are we calling Pumpkin Spice Salt "salt blend" now?
My favorite videos are Budget eats with June
Thanks June. Some wonderful ideas in here. Well done you! 🥰
*work life balance is a mythhh*
This was just like a full length movie of our favourite June the Creative.
Wow, I loved the Patacón Pisao! I’m so curious to know how you know about them, I’m from Barranquilla, Colombia 🇨🇴
As someone who has been alone at home for 2.25 years now, seeing June pulling out the """"""normal"""""" is reassuring.
Also seeing her still in her kitchen. 😀
Omg….loved it!! June is the best 🙂
I would love a budget eats where each meal featured eggs. How many ways can you make an egg the star of the dish?
Can we get another spring clean budget eats?
OMG I was so excited to see a June Budget Eats video posted and it did not disappoint. Love your series June. Maybe increase your timer to 1 hour to give you time for your creativity to shine through more <3 you seemed stressed with only 30 minutes.
P.S. All the varieties of flavored rice looked amazing, I swear I could smell it!!
Your spice cupboard overwhelms me, but it gave me a couple of ideas. How about a clean out the spice cupboard episode, finding ways to revitalize some of those tired spices we all seem to hoard.
Or a how many spices can I buy and use and store properly for $30?
You throw things in so confidently because you know what flavours will be emparted, I look at the saffron and juniper in my spice drawer and wonder why I have it. So yeah, a don't be afraid of your spice cupboard would be helpful. Much love
If you wrap the spinach/lettuce in paper towel it lasts longer. It doesn't like touching the plastic.
Love it, just wish the ingredients were that cheap where I live, yep, dollar store not that dollar anymore
Hickory rub: the secret star of this Budget Eats.
Rice, beans and plantains sounds like my usual brazilian everyday meal.
It’s always the darn ricotta with that kind of opening on it too!!
I wonder why this video wasn't tagged as byjune. All of the other budget eats videos have been
June you are a delight to watch. That’s is all
My grandma makes pickled beets but they are cinnamon…you should try doing that just for funsies, not necessarily for budget eats
I miss Aaron trying all the dishes 😢
Awesome episode June! ❤️
