I can bring my dog up to show Ruby how to eat…ha! Seriously, I agree with another poster who suggested GPS collars. The bunker looks great, but not sure why you’d want to put up board and batten, except for maybe aesthetics. Regardless, you did a great job and I look forward to the roof.

Hi Guys!!! I don"t know if you have heard of him but a great mechanic and diagnostic guy on UTube is Wes of Watch Wes Work. He fixes just about anything Cars, Trucks, Tractors, Bulldozers an old forklift that sat in the wood for 15 years that he uses in his shop. He also uses Area Diesel and did a tour video of the place. Also machine repair lathes, milling machines….not much the guy can't do. Great job on the water tank's and the trees!

Our landscaper propped our gate open while he was moving stuff in and out of our yard. The dogs got out. I found one. I never found the other one. It is a gut wrenching feeling. I looked for that dog every day for 6 months. It is a heart breaking experience. Glad you got the dogs back.

I know the right mechanic to do your repairs. He worked in big construction equipment in Georgia then moved up to Missouri and worked for the New Holland dealership that I work for for at least 8 years. Now, he has his own repair business and has all of the work he wants, he’s just that good. If you can’t find someone in your neck of the woods, let me know and I’ll share his information privately with you.

Extra Suggestion: install 2 indoor lights inside the bunker water shed and a pole mounted light (outside) not too high just high enough so you can get on it with a ladder to fix the light. If it comes to that. it will also point to where the shed is when looking towards the shed.

Sometimes when i look at your property and the work behind the scenes that going on… i think of Yellowstone (Tv-show) on a smaller scale.
Regards from Singapore, Stay safe, God bless you.

You got a lot done! Sorry about the dogs running off! The happiest time our German Shorthair had was when we spent time at our cabin on Mt. Lemmon, Arizona. He would just disappear! But when I called him he would always show up! Maybe 30 minutes later! He so loved it up there!

Check with Clint @ C@C Equipment for the problem and if he can't help check with Todd at Truck and Track. They might even know someone in your area and even another where another smaller or larger excavator is at they both are in Indiana but may know where you can get Help.

Looks very nice! Both underground water storage and area under trees! Why not cut the downed trees up for firewood? Two wood stoves to feed? All wood burns. use the "lesser" quality wood in the shop stove. I am amazed at videos of so-called homesteaders on ytube that burn brush piles and also have woodstoves. He partially answered my firewood question later in video.

As far as the Kobelco dealer is concerned, in my experience A an authorized Kobelco dealer myself, that dealer risks loosing his dealer relationship if it is learned he is working on gray market equipment. Dealers are prohibited from doing so. My guess is that is why he isn't working on your machine.

I wish my wife and I were not the type of people that get so attached to our dogs. We also have been devastated by the loss of our four legged friends, and it does not get any easier. As a Christian I know the teachings about animals having no soul, but I can't help wishing that, along with all our loved ones, those four legged friends that we have lost will be there waiting for us when our time comes.

Love this vids and your family, you are a hard working man as your wife and that benefits you and your family well. If or when you build a new house on the property what are you going to do with the house you are living in now? will it be for kids and future grandkids? Just curious. Best of love from Norway. Oboy rubi is a lovley creature, nice puppy.

That's the problem with pointers, they will bolt and with all due respect they're not the smartest breed of dog , mine to is very picky with food and will also just run off and get lost . My border collie however is the exact opposite, she won't let me out her sight
