Hey Sean. That John Kat must not know your from the west side, new sub I'm guessing. There is a famous Chicken Shack that opened in 1956 in Royal Oak opened several more on the east side over the yrs. The broasted potatoes in their seasoned butter with their bbq sauce added is as good as the protein. Best Chicken in Metro area always have a bottle of their original bbq sauce in the box.
I thought the sign said chicken fried fish at first. Will our old friend Editing Bay Sean get to review the mini fridge?

I LOVE KFC's Popcorn Chicken, and the other places in Australia (Red Rooster, Hungry Jack's) that does the same (but with different name) are okay, but don't do justice to KFC's.
My go-to there is the 8 piece dark meat only. That place is so freaking good.
When you said Chicken Shack, I was expecting the chain restaurant from Michigan and was shocked hearing you say you'd never had it. Then you rolled up to this place and I was.. "that's not chicken shack.. that's a fraaaaaaaaaud."
Chicken shack was my favorite growing up. Try the chicken and fish next time
