Thank you for making Hungarian mushroom soup. I am Hungarian and was curious how you foreigners make it. I must note that we never use dill and lemon in mushroom soup. However we add diced carrot and parsnip, and no heavy cream but much more sour cream and parsley. We also cook some noodles into it. And my mother taught me that we never add the salt at the beginning as it will make the mushrooms dark. Otherwise I will try your version one day. Thank you.

This man has serious knife skills. I appreciate that. How many supposed "professional" chefs do we see especially on food network that have no discernable knife skills AT ALL. I also like this guy's soup pot and overall no nonsense approach. This is how you produce a cooking show!

My son and I were just talking about making Hungarian Mushroom soup and I was looking for a recipe. The best I've ever had was from Old Wives Tale in PDX. That was ages ago when he was only 3 and now he's 26. Time flies.

Just made this and it taste amazing😊but I think I made a mistake of adding sour cream first instead of heavy cream, because the color doesn’t look appealing like yours😅.
