How do you think Mr. Prep did for his first time🤣? You definitely see my kitchen in a very different light in this video 😅. But I think its super important to keep things real. No one is perfect. People get sick. Houses get messy. At the end of the day, its how we handle difficult and stressful times. Hope all of you are keeping healthy and safe 💗.

Great job Mr Prep & kids!

There’s good reason to believe that the seasonal flu is God’s design to detox our bodies around the change of seasons.. so rest up and feel better soon!

    God is good!

Sonya, I’ll pray for your speedy recovery from the flu.
Get Well very soon!! I adore your YouTube channel and watch you every time you put up a new video. Your channel is my personal favorite. 😌 You’re a great role model/mentor for women like me, always, always, taking care of everyone and everything else.
And don’t forget when you are all better to make that very special time for yourself🍷. SELF CARE is priority for emotional and mental health because without that self care “happy” stamina our physical bodies can rapidly diminish its natural antibodies. As you might have guessed, I too work in the clinical healthcare area.
As for your devoted husband Mr. Prep, I can see he has a very warm friendly personality and I think he did a pretty good job cooking considering he has been sick also.
I adore your children and they are so helpful, always happy and cooperative. They are a blessing to you from above!

Once again, Be well and stay well.

Great job Mr. Sonya!!! Hope she feels much better. May I ask how the reheating of foods work on Shabbat? I know you don't turn anything on or off (I hope I'm correct). Also, what do you do for breakfast Saturday morning. Thank you.

First, hope Sonya is feeling better. Good job Dad and children. You are a lovely family. It is nice for those of us from different faiths to have a peak into other customs. We all can learn so much from each other. Thank you as I love the videos and get great ideas for recipes.

Why shouldn't he continue? His wife works a full-time (?) job outside the home and does ALL the domestic stuff from what I've seen. It really doesn't sit well with me, sorry. He could step up and help out to lighten her load. Marriages should be equal, so not one partner is benefiting much more than the other. Let's see of this gets deleted….

After watching your hubby cook I think he did great for a first time preparing shabbat meal while you recovery from having the flu and so sweet of him. Speedy recovery and wanted to share that my husband does know how to cook, however, he is not much of a baker other then like brownies and cookies he has baked. I love the idea that my husband and I can both take turns cooking dinner. Breakfast is something I usually do but once and a while my husband will whip up paleo birch pancakes with blueberries and eggs. From my experience for some reason men can't multitask. In your video your hubby did great managing the kids and cooking at the same time. There has been times when my husband is home with our toddler when I would cover his class and it is a great role reversal because I know our toddler gives him a run for his money I should say despite being a good well mannered toddler. Our toddler soon turns 4 and I wonder how your boys keep their yamika on because I have tried getting my toddler to constantly wear his at least for shabbat and services, but he takes it off. Shabbat is one of my favorite days of the week because it is an excuse to eat some good food plus homemade challah. I need to learn how to do the 4 braid challah. By the way it is very rare that my husband and I will switch places for a day because the only times he takes off is for a conference with this year they were online so he was able to be home in the summer while on zoom and take care of our toddler. The second opportunity came about recently last year in December when I had to manage performance day with the other teacher my husband co teaches. I am an early ed sub teacher by the way for our local big school district in Southern, CA. My husband was out from feeling so tired and sore from the booster shot so I was fine to take over just for two days. And why is it that men think that we women sit all day as stay at home moms while our kid or kids play. I am hands on with my toddler plus I currently homeschool while he is on winter break until he goes back which we may let him be home the first week of the new second semester to see how the covid numbers are with the new variant spreading like wild flower.

P.S. i loved the teriyaki idea and wanted to share that ginger dressing ( Makimoto brand ?) is delicious, too. For Mr Prep's and the Sous-Prep's next video 🤭

Your husband did a great job. Hope all of you are well. How long does Shabbat last? Is Shabbat for you like Sunday is for Christians? On Sundays, Christians go to church and then we are to refrain from doing work. No working in the garden, cutting grass, housework, except the very basic tasks. Unfortunately, this practice is not followed like it was when I was younger. It is good to see your family keep your religious traditions going.
