I have, what I consider, a lot of cookbooks, but not near as many as you have. They are fun to look through and I enjoyed you sharing some of yours with us. My favorite cookbook is The Country Fair Cookbook. It’s an older book, but every recipe in it has won a blue ribbon at a county or state fair. It is a baking cookbook and every recipe I’ve made from it has been wonderful!
I sure wish I would have gotten one of your cookbooks. If you print them again, or if they’re still available, I would love to get one.

Cooking the corn in a slow cooker is a great idea! I cook mine in the microwave at 15 minute intervals, stirriing after interval. I do not add sugar as the corn is so sweet. Nor do I add butter as it will sometimes brown around the edges, I do add salt. After cooking until thoroughly hot, I let it completely cool and then bag up for the freezer. When you want corn, again I use the microwave until it is hot and bubbly. Butter is then added. My mother seasoned hers with a combination of butter and bacon grease.

Hey Miss Lori and Mr Brown, the preparation is a lot of work, but oh so yummy!
My Mum loved looking through Cookbooks. She would say " I don't cook all the recipes but they are sure fun too look at the pictures😊.
I wish I could have shared my collection with Her. I was using them at the time when She would have enjoyed them😢.
I just donated a whole cooler full of picture books.
Some were in German from when I made Wedding Cakes .
Those days are gone and I now have limited room.
    🤗😘.

Watching your video, many thoughts went through my mind, the cream corn had me salivating but don't eat that on low carb😮‍💨😒 Secondly , girl, I thought I had cookbooks but you knocked it out of the park…my collection is mainly church lady cookbooks from the south, Moravian influence.Lastly I wash, chop, bag and preserve my own food and lost Martha & Paula some time ago with their meal preparers. I look forward to your videos every week, so thank you !

Hi Miss Lori, you are right about the bus driver being the first and last person the children see on a school day. My husband and brother were bus drivers in Ozark, Arkansas in the '80's. They loved it. Thank you for sharing your cookbooks, looking forward to seeing the rest. I have a Good House Keeping Cookbook hardcover with over 1,000 pages , I'm not sure of the year, as that page is no l9nger there. It belonged to my husband's grandmother

I love supporting small businesses. Most of the ones I love are in other states or countries. Mom and my brother complain when I get packages. Only the UK and Poland make my bra size so that's something I have to order.

I down sized and had to get rid of my hoard of cook books. 😱 I loved just reading and especially looking at the pictures. They inspired me to try something new. I love watching your show, your better than a cookbook!😸 Especially since trying to read a book is no longer much of a possibility (bad eyes). I can’t believe school has started in your area. Where I live it’s a tradition that school starts the day after Labor Day. On the west coast it has been so hot 112+ 🔥. Years ago, when I worked with young children I came down with every bug that was going around! Mrs. Lori take your natural remedies….especially honey, garlic and ginger daily. + fresh turmeric (all raw) 🐾. Covid seems to be ramping up, you must be careful. Hum….. I must tell you something…..and….. it’s a warning…you should stop working out side the home …..now! I’m sorry to say this….but, it’s important for your health… much love💕🐝💜🙏 (I’m a bit of a empath) you could make more money on your channel, both you and Mr. Brown!

Oh my goodness I love cookbooks to my favorite is the ones that come from different churches with all the members favorite recipes. I use to have a huge collection of them but it got to where I couldn’t store anymore of them so I cut way back and bought myself recipe notebooks that I could write all my favorites in. I also have a book from the early 1800s and there is stuff in there I never even heard of.😊

Taste of Home publications were always a favorite of mine. I was one of the original subscribers to their magazines and I still have all of them that were published until Rieman Publications sold out to Readers Digest and the quality went down the tubes. Went from Homey to Bon Appetite style and lost my business. I also have many of their cookbooks and I paid more than a couple of dollars for them 🙂 My favorite is their breakfast one.

I love your collection of cookbooks! I used to have an online used bookstore. Girl I adore cookbooks been collecting since I was a teenager. My friend would always call me “Grandma” . Anyway you know I added those hundreds of books to my collection. I like the spiral bound ones like “the lunch ladies cookbooks or the church cookbooks. I save recipes by the hundreds. In magazine at the Dr offices etc! I put them in plastic sheet protectors. I have them hidden everywhere! Lol! But I have been gathering sturdy shelving and bringing out my hidden treasures so I can enjoy them even more. I love your channel because you guys are like hanging out with family! God Blss you and your family!!
