Nice video but it would have been great to SEE the final result on a plate or in a bowl. We eat with our eyes and having a visual, at least for the end, would go a lot further in making people want to make this … just sayin'.

I just received one of my Christmas presents that I bought for me, the Instant Pot IP DUO 60 7 in 1. When you felt the meat to make sure it was done, what would you have done had the meat needed more time? Thank you!

    Hey Barbara,
Great video. If you prefer, you can place the lid in the slot after opening the cooker, where it will sit in an upright position, rather than taking up counter-space with it. It was designed to be used in that manner if space is tight, or should you not want to put a hot lid on your counter.

You know I'm hard of hearing but I could understand every single word you uttered so ignore the remarks from those saying you are "whisper talking".  This was a very helpful video so thank you for going to all of the trouble to film it.  I did find it amusing that when you put the beef in the pot you used your left hand while holding the tongs the whole time in your right hand.  Just adorable.  Barbara you are a very nice person for helping total strangers to use their Instant Pot.  Thank you

Apparently it's just me, but I have trouble understanding which buttons to press and when, and I really don't understand about pressure, releasing pressure, etc. It all seems confusing and complicated to me. I'm sure once you get the hang of it that it's not a big deal, but I'm not there.

This internet as you may have noticed, can be a pretty cruel place. Sorry for some of the negative comments, but I'm a young guy from Denmark moving into my own apartment and thanks to your video, I'll be picking up one of these. Seems like a great investment, even if it may be a little over the top for a single person 🙂 But the alternative is getting both a crock-pot and a rice cooker. I think this will be great for fulfilling both needs, and with all the time spent in the gym, I need to eat a lot for the gains anyway.

Seriously, such a nice demonstration and teaching that is ruined by the "whisper talking". Unless you are ill (and if you are, then pardon this comment) just the utensils are significantly louder than your speech. The explanation of the corn starch slurry was completely over-powered by the steam release. And to make matters worse, sometimes you actually switch to a whisper – or you drop half your words into speech and silence.

I don't cook, but really want to learn to make this dish, you took yourself out of the ability to teach with your inability to speak. I bet you make awesome food, try and communicate better! Again, if you are ill or have a problem, then that is a different story, but nothing was said about it, so I hope it is just really low low speaking volume. Don't be afraid, you have much to offer.

Thank you for the informative video, but I would have liked to have seen the finished product. And it would have been nice to know the over all time it took you to make the recipe. As a comparison to making Beef Stroganoff the traditional way.
But I was quite impressed with the Instant Pot.
Love your kitchen everything looks so well organized and convenient.
    Good video though 🙂
