My dog would always run outside and stay there for hours when it used to beep. If she even saw me take it out to use it she would run for cover. I wish I would have known I could turn off the beeping sooner.
I wish there was an option for just one beep instead of the 7 or 8 long loud annoying beeps. I like the little jingle when I open and close it though. My car does the same thing when I put in and take out the key.

Mine wont silence no matter how many times i try this 🙁 right after i do it, it says "SOFF" and then switches to off then i put the lid on and the sound is on! ;(

I don't think my duo 60 is loud enough. I hear them chime in videos and are loud enough to easily hear. But in person (mine at least) is barely audible.
Does this affect the alarm?

Jeffery why don't I hear Anything from my instapot when its pressure cooking? Its totally soundless. why doesn't it have any type of sound, Its the 3rd Gen with the Cake on it 8Qt. It is the one with the handle on one side. I'm told its the newest in the pots besides the Ultra. Its amazing but Soundless. Does anyone have this one and is your Pot Soundless?? Setting the "altitude" elevation on an Instant Pot. Who would have known. Here in Las Vegas, my kitchen is about 3,000 in elevation. Just reset it and can't wait to see if that makes a difference. Love your videos!!!!
OH MY GOSH! I have a dog that is so sensitive to sounds. He even gets weird when I take my pressure cooker out of the pantry. It takes him about 4 hours to get over this. I'm going to buy an Instant Pot.
