Amazing and such great insights on how to keep going! You are doing this, girl!!!! I love how you talk about your transformation being beyond just the physical. I'm reading Atomic Habits now, and it is an incredible book. I agree that motivation comes and goes all the time and working on behavior change and habits is crucial. Thanks for sharing your story…it is inspiring! Chelsea just did a podcast (Why I Started Eating Processed Food Again from Aug 16th), and in it she talks about perfectionism and how important it is not to have that "all in or all out/ on track or off track" mindset because often that stops our progress. So when you have the occasional vegan treat (like you mentioned the Oreos), you don't punish yourself or just give up and say, "I've messed up so might as well just give up (or start again next Monday, or whatever)." No, you just make your next meal a healthy one! Consistency over time and having the right mindset is so key, and I love that you talk about how you've achieved that in your journey. YAY YOU!!! 🙂
I love how you talked about one bad decision does NOT ruin all your progress!!!! SoOOO true! I also have to tell myself that 'one bad decision' is not a bad decision unless I let it turn into a week of bad decisions!
