This might be a kind of obvious suggestion, but I don’t see any duck on that menu. In my haughty opinion, your basic Chinatown deli duck runs circles around most versions of Peking (Beijing?) duck… although my favorite Cantonese American duck preparation is still wor shu opp, on the rare occasions that I can find it.

5:17 NOOOOOO that dish 扣肉 is Hakka! Lomei is ChiuChow/Teochew, but KouYoak is Hakka!!!

And that's mustard greens, not radish. I'm gonna assume y'all don't have radish greens in your diet either.

Good food is good food. I don't care what era or ethnic group it comes from. Innovation is great but it will never replace quality ingredients prepared with care and appreciation.

This restaurant is definitely doing something right! As a Cato-Canadian I approved their menu! It's very impressive to me that they did elevation on cooking techniques but also preserved the authenticity of these classic Canto dishes! I would like to see they add flat rice noodles stir-fried with beef (Gon Chau Ngau Ho) to their menu! Gon Chau Ngau Ho is my all time favourite Canto dish and must get in a Canto restaurant! I also want to see a limited selection of rice rolls… Hold up it's just there's too many great Canto dishes lol

cos real chefs used to cook chinese up until the 90's. since then it's some family, wife at front and husband flipping woks who never done it before. so they got all these kits now, they just combine it and serve it all tastes like shit.
