hello! you may not read this, but I am so grateful for you recipe channel/website. my mother is from the countryside of Japan, and growing up she always cooked Japanese food at home. She is no longer around to show me these recipes, a few I remember from helping her in the kitchen but many I do not remember.

I tried this recipee last week but the middle of rice is slightly undercook. Is it because I use local rice, not japanese rice. Or should I add more stock if I put lots of ingredients?

Can you make a Japanese Fried Rice recipe? I recently went to a Japanese ramen place and with our bowl came this very delicious set of fried rice which to me had pork or chicken? With egg in it and the rice looked brown but it was the best flavored rice I’ve ever had and i think it might of had some sort of root or seaweed in it
