I have wanted to make potato vodka for a long time. Why I’m not entirely sure, I guess I just like to try different things. It turns out potatoes vodka tastes great.

Any alcoholic drink when you add anything before brewing is purely bullshit and poison. Only real alcoholic drinks are made of fruit,no added sugar or any other bullshit,just pure fructose, natural sugar. Serbian fruit rakija is number one.
So he didn't make potato vodka. Soon as he added barely and yeast its no more potato vodka. It's something that is called bullshit.
Am I the only Russian here? Just in case – vodka is usually made of grain. Potatoes? I don't think this is vodka. It's rather German Schnapps.
When you make general videos for the worldwide viewers try to speak general English terms rather than your local terms Or technical terms which is useless for layman begginers. Make is simple and watchable

I used to make potato vodka by taking some vodka, watering it down a bit and soaking a potato in it for a few days. Turns out I might have been doing it wrong. Still, it was quite nice if I remember right, so long as you fished out the peel first. Had a kind of fishy bouqet.
Do we need any aging process for vodka or we can drink right after we distilled?

Funny story! There was a man in the United States a few years ago, who walked into the emergency room stinking drunk swearing to the high heaven he had not taken a drink that day, after being in disbelief for a for a while, they ran some tests, and as it turns out he has fermenting bacteria in his digestive tract, and foods that contain any starch bread, potatoes etc, it gets converted to alcohol In his gut(digestive tract)
