Thank you, much less pretentious than most other videos like this. I wouldn't have thought of the cheese mixed in, good one.

So take two of these, when near done flip for the last time, and put a half s slice of American cheese product (or other pretentious cheese if you must, but it's not the same) on each. Take a sausage patty, cut in half and put the cut edges offset half way and and at an angle to cover one of the hash browns the long way, and cover for the last 30 seconds to melt the cheese. Flip the other one o top of the first one. Maybe sprinkle some fresh chive on top, at most. Makes for a nice breakfast, and you might even want to pick it up like a sandwich.

Just tried this and my word! The best ever. Super soft on the inside, really crispy on the outside and cheesy all over! Yum! They don’t make them like this at restaurants! Thank you

I tried to make it but I missed a step. That is – frying the potatoes before letting everything combine together. It has made my grated potatoes unable to stick and form a nice round shape. Is there a science behind this I am missing? Will be great if someone can help enlighten me. Thanks!!
