I'm not a vegetarian but I just can't eat baby cows. They kill them at just a few months old. Is there anything else I could substitute for the veal? The recipe looks amazing.
For veal, I choose red wine, not white. Pinot noir, burgundy, or shiraz. Maybe chianti if I can find a light one.

I often make Osso Bucco in the colder months sometimes using whole lamb shanks. I’ve substituted beef shanks and they are also delicious. Nicole, I watch all your videos. You rock!

People aren’t really used to bone-in cuts anymore but they are amazing. I grew up eating bone-in round steak and we fought over the bites of bone marrow. It’s delicious.
