it doesn't seem that anyone is trying this, but the other problem with using steel cut oats is that they haven't been steamed; they aren't really suitable for no-heat applications.

Hey there!!! I'm new to all this healthy way of life, so basically a mom of two trying to improve. So I was wondering if any kind of vegetable milk can be used for chia pudding, is it possible to use any of them? Like the oat one? Thanx for all the usefull content.

Wow I can totally see that it's not as "slimy"! I've made relatively "not slimy" oat milk before but nothing like this! I would totally give this a try, thank you for all your research and experiments. Yay for me!

Nice video but take care guys by drinking uncooked oatmeal milk there is an ingredient which is quite poison if you drink too much of it the only way to reduce it is boiling for 7 min . soaking over night is an option but not enough as well same as nut milk !

It takes so much water to grow almonds! Most of the world's almonds are grown in California as well – not an area we want to be draining dry of water. It's been detrimental to the bee population as well. I've kicked my almond milk habit and now make my own oat and flax milks – far less expensive and much better for the environment.

Hiya Lisa, I loved this video as I do with all of them, and I'm always interested in the Phaelonopsis behind you in the videos. I love them and grow them myself, but only indoors because I live in North West England, so too cold for outside growing. Great air purifiers. Take care, David.😎🇬🇧🌹

I am following a high fiber anti-inflammatory intermittent fasting diet
and I exercise 3-5 days a week for a at least 30-50 minutes- I do
Insanity/Cardio, Pilates and Yoga. I was missdiagnosed as having a
dermoid cyst last year and when operated on discovered I had endo
instead. Recently the constipation has become unbearable- I am waiting
on seeing a new gyno and gi doctor. Can you please tell me how can I fit
in- dissolvable fiber, smarty's pants women's vitamins, tums, probiotic
and magnesium supplements throughout the day(I normally eat between
10:00 am-6:30 pm) and on Saturday cheat day between 10:00 am-9:00 pm.
Please post a message back if you have the chance. I am already eating mostly gluten free and lactose free.

I’ve been told that people with gluten issues should avoid oats, even if certified gluten free. Oats can digest similarly to gluten and cause inflammation in celiacs, why is why oat milk makes me bloated and not feel well. Maybe not the case for everyone but I guess something to watch out for!

I became lactose intolerant two years ago and it only gets worse the more I try to ignore. I really dislike almond milk and oatmilk is the only one that I can tolerate and does not alter the flavor of my coffee!

Excellent video, Lisa! I’ve been just getting used to oat milk with small bits it because I’ve found the milk bag version always too slimy. I’ll have to try picking up some enzymes. Does the milk you treated with the enzymes still perform poorly when heated? I’m not sure what else Oatly might add to stabilize it for lattes, etc. I don’t have the ingredients on hand
