Can you please do one for Puerto Rican rice with pigeon peas?
Thank you for making it about cooking the dish. Precise, concise and well executed!
I gave up making rice a long time ago. I could never get the flavor and texture right. But after watching your video, I know my rice is gonna turn out really good.
Thank you Carolyn!!
yes we luuuuuuv so much 😉
Do not take that lid off🤣🤣
Carolyn girrrrrrrrrrl this rice is amazing, but I had to work with what I had already! I used a 14.5 oz can of fire roasted diced tomatoes and poured the whole can in the blender with the
roasted onion, garlic, and part of a red bell pepper-those were the only changes made! The rice was so good, and btw I am still making your enchilada sauce every chance I get-delicious! Thanks so much for sharing!!!!
Made it today and it was awesome. But made a little change – put a Knorr cube into the blender with the onions. Super tasty.
I love caramelized tomatoes 😍😋
Wow, excellent… Carolyn…..
I just made some . we liked it. I didn't use garlic just added garlic powder
l like this recipe!
I finally tried your version of Spanish rice I must say roasting the veggies makes a big difference in taste. Thank you. 😋😊
Could this potentially be done with quinoa?

damn big moma , how did you learn our brown flavor lol jk
Good video
Clear well thought out instructions
Great job
I'd mix some butter and the spices when vegetables are being caramelized. Then add chicken stock to pan to deglaze, before putting into blender.
What type of blender do you use?
I make it by first browning the rice in oil and then adding a can of tomato sauce and the chicken stock, then I just cover it and let it cook
I curious about you arroz se ve delicioso
Ms Lady that looks devine and I really like that puree step. Tomatoe flavor and no chunks. Ta da……….genius!!
your narration was excellent! and the recipe was wonderful.
this is so similar to jollof
how much water mine didn't come out good. ?
You don't have to use 4 cups of water? Because it's 2 cups of rice ?
I like your idea of roasting, or caramelizing, the onion, tomato and garlic, and then into the Vitamix. I will definitely be doing it this way from now on. Saves time on all the fine dicing I've been doing with the veggies before adding. Not to mention adding a little more flavor. Now why didn't I think of this myself? LOL
Oh my mmmmmmmm!!!!!
If I wanted to add some finely chopped peppers, what step should they be added to?
I would really like to add shrimp and veggies to this rice. Can you please tell me at what point the shrimp/rice should be added? Thanks so much!
Can you use vegetable bouillon instead of chicken?
