This might be a good recipe but this is NOT an italian beef sandwich. Not Chicago style.
I wouldn't bother with this recipe, unless you love salt, brine and some more salt. A total waste of a $20 chuck roast. It was inedible. I made a salt lick. Add I added NO SALT.
Made this in Aust. using masterfoods cumin, coriander and black pepper with jar of green Spanish chilli and a squire amber ale….. Kicked ass!!
