I have a lot of leftovers of your great cranberry sauce recipe made from a kilo of cranberries so thinking about making Wassail with it somehow.
All the other leftovers went into traditional Thanksgiving Soup.

Jilly this reminds me of a Christmas of 30 yrs ago and we hosted dinner for an Italian couple who had recently moved to Canada and our dear friends, another couple, she was from France and he was from Wales and we all contributed. Our French friend taught me how to make Eggnog from scratch. The only eggnog I drink now. I usually put a mulled wine in the crockpot, but you've inspired me to bring out the eggnog again this year! Thanks for your videos, they remind us of the importance of holidays…good food, family and friends!

We call the wassail Gløgg and we also add crushed almond and raisins 🙂
