This is the best and most simple pie crust recipe I've ever made. I've tried making other recipes but they all end up being confusing, sort of. This is my favorite and the flavor is amazing, thank you so much for the wonderful video and recipe!!!

Made the pie, you won't regret this. Perfect firmness, although if you don't like a pie with a slight sour taste to it then make sure you add more sugar. For me though, I love sour food. The sourness was perfect for my palette. My pie dish was too wide and I had to outstretch the dough, it still wasn't enough unfortunately. I managed to cover the top with strips but couldn't cover the edges whatsoever. Make sure you get a pie dish not too wide, or use a normal dish that isn't necessarily intended for pies such as the one Natasha is using. Funnily though, my pie managed to stay intact despite that! Tastes delicious, this is THE pie you're looking for.

I was dying for a homemade apple pie all the stores in my community are closed my mother is on vacation in Italy otherwise she would be my first stop, I have every toy you can possibly think of in my kitchen. So I decided to make this crust and it came out perfect exactly the same way that you said only I like my crust thicker so I double the application the only thing is I did not have unsalted butter so I put less salt in the mixture I'm waiting as I left it in the refrigerator. The reason I started making the apple pie was because I went to an orchard this morning that receive many great reviews on Google. And picked up an apple crumb pie only to come home and be severely disappointed the crust was mushy. The apples were quite tasty and the crumb was very light and flavorful so I'm going to transfer the apples and the crumb mixed together and use it as my filling for my pie as much as I'd like to use fresh apples I don't have the time for it to cook I have to get to bed early this evening .I'll keep you posted how it went.
One question I do have if I decide I do not want to make a lattice cover I'm want to completely cover the top of the pie, should I poke holes in the top for air to escape?

What a great recipe. I just tried it for a rhubarb pie and it turned out great. This is the only pie recipe I’ll use. Thank you for sharing your faith of Christ on your page. God bless from Kansas.
