    Mom would always make super simple potato soup for me when I was sick. Cubed Russett potatoes (b/c that's what we had on hand) boiled in chicken broth, slightly mashed at the end of cooking time & topped with dried parsley.
    I've been experimenting with it & adding garlic & ham cubes too. It seems best when reheated too. 🤤

    Yummy, love ckn soup, sick or not! Love the noodles, Nikolas is a noodle man. When sick, Ginger Ale and crackers. Looks so good! How do you make OX Tails? Mom is Hungarian and made it with Italian sauce. Miss Ox Tails . Joan Bates. Celery is very healthy for you, good for the kidneys. Like celery cooked too.

    Haha I drank jello water as a kid too. Soothed a sore throat great. I’d probably go with the lemon rice w/ chicken if I was sick for the extra vitamin C. Fortunately (knock on wood) I’ve found the magic daily elixir, that coupled with limiting public places in cold season and washing hands and face when I get home… I haven’t gotten a full blown cold since 2016. I feel lucky for not getting sick. I’m the worst when I get sick. Get debilitating body aches to go along with the head cold. I also eat a lot of veggies. good source of immune system boosting vitamins and minerals in veggies. 😉

    I'm in SW Michigan and Vernors is a must have for cold season. We drink Vernors for any kind of upset stomach. My other go to is pineapple juice. It is amazing for coughing. My daughter has asthma and I have found it helps more than her inhaler sometimes.
