Chocolate Peanut Butter Bacon Fat Bomb

Makes 38 pieces – 2 pieces per serving

8 Ounces Kerrygold Butter (Use unsalted for a milder less salty taste )

1 packet or scoop Chocolate Peanut Butter Keto Chow

1/3 cup Bacon Crumbles, cooked and drained (I used Kirkland brand)

Smoked Cherry Wood Salt by Redmond (optional)

    Instructions:

Brown your bacon crumbs until just crisp then place on a plate with a paper towel under it to soak up the bacon grease. I also cover and pat the top of the bacon crumbles to get off the extra bacon crease.

Melt and brown your butter on medium heat in a saucepan or frying pan.

Stir occasionally but not constantly. This will take about 15 to 20 minutes.

As soon as you smell that buttery popcorn or kettle corn smell watch for the butter at the bottom to start to brown once this happens turn off the heat and stir slowly and look at the bottom to be sure you have a nice golden-brown color.

Immediately remove it from the heat. This can turn to burnt quickly so get it off the heat.

Pour the browned butter into a bowl or 3 cup measuring cup

Add in the packet of Chocolate Peanut Butter Keto Chow or your favorite flavor like Chocolate Toffee, Chocolate etc. whisk together until well mixed

Spoon in the bacon crumbles and use the spoon to stir them in to combine. Do not whisk them because you don’t want to break the crumbs up you want pieces of bacon in this.

Have your favorite silicone Keto fat bomb or candy molds out and on a cookie sheet

Start spooning in the mixture and remember stir each time to get the mix and some of the bacon from the bottom.

Evenly add a little bit of the bacon in, then fill up the rest with the mix and go down the line stirring as I go to keep the butter and Keto Chow mixed

Optional: Add one pinch of smoked Cherry salt on top

Once you have your molds filled put the tray into the freezer if you have a nice flat area.

You can also put these into the refrigerator first and allow them to set then freeze.

Once these are frozen and setup you can pop them out of the molds and into a freezer bag or freezer container. These will keep in the freezer for a long time. You can grab when you feel like having a delicious treat.

I can't wait to make these fat bombs, they are more like protein fat bombs though with the keto chow in them, soooo that makes it the best of both worlds 🙂 like others, I thought the same about adding the bacon to the molds first then pouring in the mixture.

Those look fantastic and sooo delicious 😋 Wendy !!. Can't wait to make it with the Chocolate PB and bacon. Adding the bacon was such a great idea Wendy!! Also, it's so true about 3BE or carnivore ppl. It's a perfect fat bomb snack. I now have a max of 23 grams a day of KC in my last leg of 3BE and I've actually moved the scale and inches more than the first leg. Maybe it took those two weeks to heal me. Still glad that KC doesn't affect me. 😋💕

I make a keto sugar free peanut butter fudge, I added coarsely crushed pork rinds to it and put it in my molds, put them in the freezer to set and topped with melted sugar free milk chocolate. They were delicious, the texture reminded me of a crunch bar and you can't taste the pork rinds. I'm making them for goodie packages for Christmas.

Thank you, love the idea of the keto chow bacon fat bombs, I think they will be a great substitute for the keto bricks when on the go. I have never tried the keto bricks because of the cost, now I don't have to. Thanks again
