I’ve made this recipe several times and would recommend leaving the pickling liquid from the peppers OUT. The first three times I made this made everyone’s nose run and tear up. It was still good though just spiked with more pain than someone expects at dinner.

I like and respect you, but the amount of Americans with absolutely no sense of taste that are ready to upvote everything you do is nauseating. This, like many things that are 'Italian American' are actually 'Italian' in origin and the deviations from actual food science relative to the dish are unacceptable. I know that you adjust your recipes for your ridiculously large american audience, but please attempt to educate a little. Using recipes from some 5th generation american italian that has been living in Jersey so long they wouldn't know north Italy from south italy anymore that the Sopranos is horrible. Italians actually still cook, the same way they did 3 centuries ago, and the food is still amazing. Also, amerian ingredients are horrible, full stop. You know it, I know it.

You mentioned 20 mins stovetop and 30 mins in the oven, but in the end it was 45. But I know to cook the chicken til it's done, just an editing gaff I think?
