I like you. You're funny. Best to roast carcass. I would split, and roast at 400 for 20. Veg will give more flavor also if you saute first. A few celery stalks are missing. And why cold water? You're taking longer to get to high temp. Room temp makes sense. And you filled above max line. Fill just to cover the contents. A few peppercorns and bay leaves are typically added..

Thanks for the easy to follow video. I've made beef bone broth. This is my first time for chicken broth. I added a bit acv, no celery (I'm out, but I wasn't homemade turkey broth for my Turkey and rice soup). I hope it turns out great.

We absolutely LOOOOOVE our Instant Pot.>>>ur2.pl/1046 We got it on Prime day and have used it every day since. Like most people, we fell into a rut of making the same meals over and over. The Instant Pot has opened up a whole new world for us. We are still discovering new recipes and having a lot of fun. If you are considering one of these, don't hesitate. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I can relate, Heather. I chased 3 of our pigs that got loose into a neighbor's cornfield for 4a few hours. Never again. Thanks for the video.

You seem like such a fun girl! I'm making stock now in my instant pot as we speak, but I'm using some frozen bones leftover from butter chicken I made a few nights ago. I can't wait until its done, because we're having bean and bacon soup tonight and the home made stock will be just the thing to make it extraordinary.

I have been hearing about this pot. sounds good HOWEVER……I always skim the skum off of my broth while cooking, especially since you don't soak the bones first, or pre bake to get the impurities . Thank you for the video.

Love it! Thank you! I'm learning how to use my instant pot that I've had for nearly 5 years. Yep. Apparently quite the slow learner when it comes to these types of gadgets. Oy!

You made broth but not bone broth! You need to add vinegar to extract the minerals from the bones. That's what makes it a bone broth — minerals from bones. It won't release the minerals without the vinegar. I use apple cider vinegar.

Nice looking Stock! My Daughter bought me the LUX60 V3 a few days ago. I tried it for the first time last night. I did Beef Short Ribs, wow were they great.

I'm glad you did not suggest using ACV because it gives me a headache. Also, good to know about the salt as I was wondering why my broth had a bitter taste. What size Instant Pot are you using? 6 or 8 quart? Getting ready to order me one. Thanks!

I've always done my broth in a crockpot for the 12-24 hours. I'm super excited to use my new instant pot for this. My question is, "Does the broth form a gelatin after only 2 hours with the instant pot like it does simmering for the 12-24 hours"?

Do not overfill your pot like this. It has to boil (will overflow into your other parts of the appliance. It also needs sufficient space for steam. Watch the line inside of the pot for the maximum allowed.

And yes, she is right, with making soup, more time doesn't matter. Just wait till pressure goes down instead opening it when it is under pressure. There is no hurry for the soup.

Thanks got a few good tips using my Instant Pot which I also love! – you give very clear instructions.. however I noticed that your recipe does not call for apple cider vinegar which is supposed to be beneficial.

Thanks so much for this video. I just got my Instantpot and wanted to do something easy in it and had a turkey carcus I saved from Thanksgiving. I am going to do this right now since you showed this. I was a little scared on using it, but you make it so easy. Thanks for the tutorial. Am definitely going to start following this channel. Learned a lot.

You can really make two batches of IP bone broth?! Really? Are both batches as strong as each other, or is the second batch usually weaker?

I make bone broth for IBD, and I have to follow some strict diets (AIP diet and FODMAP). Thanks for the tips (especially with the salt bit). 🙂
