Free? Only six hours of boiling (power costs) and 12 hours of dehydrating (power costs). The bones have a cost too. I’m curious how this method compares to just purchasing bonemeal?
I bet if a person were to go to a butchers shop or slaughterhouse they would give you all the bones you could want. There's many resources out there if we just start linking up with others.. You may even offer a trade of fresh produce from your harvest in return for the free bones.
I 💙 how you talk about a plant/ nutrition for the plants then you give us a example of how to do it! Like this video. Like Bone meal making it yourself to prove to us its possible to make it at home while saving money n showing us step by step! Thats y I love ur channel. I have learned so much in the last couple weeks on raising strawberry 🍓 plants and beds. We appreciate all your hard work n we support your channel and of course you!
I love the idea of using bones that would otherwise go to the trash this way. I do wonder though if all the energy usage that boiling bones for six hours takes is really less than the cost of buying that stuff premade
COST EFFECTIVE??? seems like a lot of stuff i need to make it not to mention the cost of energy for such a small amount. Buy a bag for 15bucks or all the crap too make it…no thanks…AMAZON…LOL
For plants that like nitrogen coconut water is great but it’s pricey your better off soaking bananas skins in water for like a week then throwing that on em

This seems like a lot of work, and a lot of wasted energy. Why not just buy a 15 kg bag from the store? It cant be that expensive.
