I saute chopped onions and garlic prior to browning my seasoned and floured chuck roast..it's all about the flavor. I'm intending to make a soup tomorrow and came to possibly get ideas. I've got the carrots, mushrooms already slow simmered for hours with the crockpot roast so.. Bon Appetite!
