For this recipe I used chuck roast these roasts are inexpensive, and quite flavorful.
This gal assumed everyone knew settings etc…this was the dumbest vid made of all time. Thx for nothing
Wow … no help at all ! Never told any of the settings for browning & cooking. Won't watch her again.
THANK YOU– I really didn't want to wait on slow cooker– and do it quickly sometime- and happened to have an instant pot– I'm now on CARNIVORE diet loving it- adn this will simply things.. or at least speed them up a tad. THANKS AGAIN.
How much water did you use. I'm assuming you did normal on high, right
Great video thank you! I am a new instant pot owner so I am learning how to cook with it and you helped me out tremendously! Thank you, I look forward to any further recipes! 👍
No liquid?
Sounds easy and probably will taste awesome. But for beginners need the measurement.
I dont know how to cook so you skipped too many steps or assumed we knew how to do things like brown meat. Wrong. Now I'm gonna watch someone that tells me step by step how to cook the roast that I received from butcher block. Maybe you can list the level of detail for those of us that dont know how to cook. Thanks anyway.
Jalapeno poppers !
the most crucial part of timing and i couldnt understand you….17 or 70😂😂😂😂😂
Where the juice n veggies at??? That meat does look scrumptious
Quick & to the point! Loved it!
the recipe did not tell my to put the roast in. step 1 is press saute then add olive oil. sear the roast. but it didn't tell me to add the roast. now it will never cook
Be nice if she showed what to button to use on the instant pot…
What she don’t say is don’t open it . Nearly melted my damn face off lmao
Too vague… what’s the settings you used? Did you add some liquids? Pretty sure that’s a pressure cooker requirement….but nothing was shown.
I thought you had to add liquid and that the meat had to be elevated on a rack?
Poor teaching video. Many missed details beginning with the size of your IP and how much (olive) oil to use to brown (2 TBSP) the meat and generalized amount of time needed (4.5-5.5 mins) and beyond.
Thumbs down
Great job explaining what you did however, it would be nice to see the cooking process ie settings, etc for a more thorough video.
Thanks, added some chunky mushrooms with Reames frozen noodles some ou jus powdered gravy 1 cup beef broth 2 Tbl spoon flour. Yum
should have put Garlic 😀
I don’t know if you’re still making videos but if you are, more Instant Pot recipes would be great since I just got one.
I would love to see an Instant Pot recipe for Lemon Thyme Rice.
I have listened to that cook time multiple times and and giving either 17 minutes or 70 minutes which is it?
That meat looks delicious. Can you fix a prime rib in the Hot Pot? My wife likes her meat well done but prime rib can be tough. She does not want to see any red. I like mine medium or medium rare. Thanks.
how many pounds was this roast?
Telling us what settings you used and so on would be very helpful.
How do you know when it has finished the natural release?
Hi im new subscriber i want to know wether did you add any liquid also the time is it 17 minutes or 70 minutes cant really get it thanks
Looks perfect. The way I like it. Parents used to make 7 bone in the slow cooker when I was young. Only roast I tried in my PC came out too dry. Think I picked a crappy cut, too lean of ? Thanks. Going to do a chuck roast this time.
Did you know you could also add vegetables that’s the video I’m looking for
The title is missing the word “Pot”.
is it 70 minutes or 17
Rather than stink up my kitchen I put the lid on when I sear. Works just fine.
But imma need u to season that meat 🥩 sum more tho 🙄🙄
Hi. I like the name of your channel. I just bought an Instant Pot and will by trying out some of your recipes… Thank you
NATURAL RELEASE
I'm not sure why people have been sucked into this 'instant pot' fad. A conventional pressure cooker is half the price and twice as easy to clean. Fewer parts with a conventional pressure cooker too. A simple gasket replacement once every 5-10 years, ( I use my pressure cooker every day) and possibly a leaking relief valve. Other than that, a roast cooked in a pressure cooker is the only way to go. The flavor is unbeatable, and a 'fall off the bone' roast can be ready in less than an hour. Slow cooking a piece of meat in a crock pot, especially beef with a little fat on it, makes it taste rancid by the time the meat begins to fall apart. About the only thing I use my old antiquated crock pots for is fermenting cabbage for sauerkraut.
Did you say 17 minuets or 70 minuets?
I wish she would show how to put the lid on and setting the pressure cooker
Ok
I wondered if I could do the same thing with a leg of lamb?
looks overcooked
Oh my days!!! I just made this- so good, so good!! I also dumped some frozen mushroom in there and the sauce came out out of this world!! Currently reducing on the stove to thicken it out, but oh my god I wanna slap somebody it's so good! Not adding any liquids made the sauce the bomb as it's pretty much all meat juice and onion/mushroom juice. Yumm
Love this😀👍
I have a Cosori pressure cooker, but followed this recipe pretty close, but did add some broth. Not a lot though, and it turned out really nice. Too much liquid would be like a pot roast, which I don't think a sirloin tip roast needs to be cooked like that. I like a roast you can slice up, not have it just fall apart. If I wanted that I would have bought a rump roast or something.
Have you cooked a Tri Tip in the IP?
70 minutes on which setting???
Thanks for the video, looks delish. People need to read comments. Everyone keeps asking if you have to add liquid, Stephanie did not and she mentions it turns out fine with liquids released from the veggies and meat. Could you add 1 or 1 1/2 or liquid…sure you can.
More instapot recipes please.. I Can't find the right or perfect way to cook chicken in an instapot.. Ty
