    Great idea! I think i just found a new meal to pack. Looks like it turned out perfect with the fruits. And even better, for small packs like i would do for my daughter and i, it would cook perfectly in the Trangia!

    Man, cooking for a crew is about the only trail/camp cooking I do these days. Would be nice to get back to cooking for just a couple of folks. Dietary restrictions are usually the toughest part for me. I'm used to thinking in terms of gluten free but occasionally have someone who is soy allergic, someone else who is bean allergic, and occasionally have a vegan. And that a la carte approach is soooo useful.
