Have tried different ways and found steaming to be our preferred method. Cut back both ends to square end while still in husk. Husk and most silk will pull off easily and simply use water and rub down to get any remaining silk.

Absolutely right. Corn is a little different today,we have lots of hybrids and super sweets. Just as important as cook time is harvesting at the correct time to get your corn at the top of its flavor profile. Proper storage until you process is another factor. I assume your corn used in the video today was bought or came from your freezer, since its early spring.

Thank you, I didn’t know how long to boil corn on the cob. Now I can make it for my family!! Do you know when you might post the brown sugar chicken? I’m waiting to make with the tomatoes and beans meal you made the other day! It looked so delicious!

Not only does it lose nutrients but the longer you boil it the tougher it gets. When people try your method they will notice the wonderful difference right away. Thanks lady, good job.

Took your advice and 4 minutes turned out perfect! My Mom said it tastes just like my great grandpa corn out of the garden. Best corn I have had thanks for the recipe.

This truly does work. I have family who are farmers & we've done this for years at family functions with corn fresh from the farm. Delicious & just the right cooking time too. 😋🌽
