Ok I'm making pot roast for dinner… is there any way it can go for more than 30min? Every time I make it I have to constantly add more minutes I had to do 4 rounds of 30 min so the roast can easily break. Is there a setting where I can set it for 120 min?

I watched this video, think I'll bypass on all of this. What's with everyone cooking with wine? Isn't it enough you drink the stuff, you have to ruin food with it as well. That doesn't even look like stew. But, to each his own. Next Video!

You can add much more beef.. A lot more potatoes, carrots, celery, etc. whatever you like. Then it's more like a stew many of you are talking about. Thicken it up at the end with the potato flakes to make a hardy beef stew.. I cheat a little and add Brown Gravy mix along with Beef Boullion, lots of garlic. Love the red wine here as it adds a nice depth and flavor to the stew.
