Did your mom or grandmas enter their produce, canned products, baked goods, etc., at the fair?
Well after watching your canning videos, I just put canning accessories on my Christmas list for this year!
I should try this. We love to eat peaches in the winter time. Yum.
Do you need a special canner? Or can u use a regular pot? Can the jars sit on the bottom of the pan or must they be raised up?

I was never taught to can and always wanted too. Would you do a few videos on canning? Blackberries or less sugar jam perhaps?
My Mom taught me to put 1 peach pit in the bottom of the jar plus she added a teaspoon or 2 of real almond flavoring to the syrup. So good!

Nothing like that smell. My grandmother canned peaches every year and then in January, there they were.

What I do is drop the peach in boiling water for 30-60 seconds and then drop it in ice water. More ice than water. The peel literally slips off no issue.
