They didn't have 4 hours or even 30 minutes to soak chops in a brine. I understand she isn't under the same time restraint but its unfair o say she's showing how to "fix" a mistake made often on Chopped where they do only have 30 minutes for this round.
I’ll say it again, I don’t like this presenter or her show. She is a wannabe quota filler and the show is a farce. And most annoying thing is when she bangs her spoon on the side of the pot or pan like a heathen.
I have slow cooked a pork tenderloin in spices and hard cider. Came out with a lovely apple flavor! And pork and apple goes so well together.
Best way to be "unchoppable?" Take hostages! ^-^
Just kidding, not advocating violence, just trying to make a mildly humorous comment.
I thought chopped gives you a time limit? You don’t have time brine something for a min of 30 minutes to 4 hours? You won’t be unchoppable if you do this
Un-Choppable should not be the channel name. You say in the beginning on how not to be Un-Choppable. You first problem is you put the chops in a brine. It said refrigerated for 30 minutes to 4 hours. You're automatically chopped because you're going to be serving raw meat because you did not adhere to the time limits given by chopped. This show makes no sense whatsoever. Need to go back to the drawing board and rethink this if you're going to do this show you need to adhere to the chop rules and give yourself a time limit to actually cook a dish sorry but I'll pass on this stupid channel
On chop, they look for the transformation of the ingredient, layers and depth of flavors, layers of textures and it needs to look pretty.

I do like these videos, but why isn't Samantha tutoring Chopped chefs? That would be an interesting show. You can call it Redemption.
How long should meat rest properly?
Damn that looks good.
