Right many family members were farmers and had other skilled professions! Not once did I see slave under my family which fits what my elders said. But the people I came across who were possibly slaves said slave on their documents but that was few and far in between!!!

I'm so glad you came back to this one. It was rumored that I was a lil premy by 4 weeks or so. Nevertheless, I didn't take to the Similac or whatever government milk supplement was available. My mom being from the country part of Hampton Roads. Franklin County. I am supposed to have drank goat milk. I never saw anyone with goat milk. But i do remember ladies mixing up formula for babies. With powder milk and can milk!
In fact the only milk I could drink for long time was powderd milk. I am super lactose intolerant. Hardly eat cheese! 😕

I'm sorry…anything other than MOM'S MILK is unnatural. A cow wanes it's calf off of milk forever after X number of months because the milk becomes poisonous.
