Beryl, thank you so much for sharing my paintings! It felt surreal to see them there behind you, and I am so glad my big pickle delighted you (I had hoped it would!) Love your show and your zesty approach to life! <3

So cool to see Seonkyoung here! This episode has to be my favourite because 1) I usually only make spring rolls (fresh or fried) out of them and 2) I love allllll the recipes!

Hi Beryl, I've tried a couple of fish sauces, and I find they smell like the head on a fishing boat, and the taste is equally bad.
Could you perhaps mention which brand you cook with on the show if and when it's one of the ingredients?

I made the rice paper pizza tonight (or my version with what I had, that is) and wow, it was amazing! I can't wait to try more of these recipes — great video, Beryl 🙂

Sorry Beryl, this is one of the rare times I have to disagree with you. Love death mushrooms, really really don’t enjoy dried mushrooms. Unless they’re cooked in a certain way. Love them in my grandma’s zongzi or in any other glutinous rice dish, can’t think of any other way I enjoy them.

I looooove fish sauce! I discovered it through a beauty guru about ten or more years ago. She made a video about what she eats for breakfast, and her parents are from Vietnam. She made eggs, and sprinkeld fish sauce on them. I bought fish sauce the next, and since then it's always been in my pantry <3 Thanks Michelle Phan! And thanks Beryl! I really love your videos, you are so comfortable, even in your own discomfort, and I am here for it! You and your content feels real and honest, and I miss that in a lot creators these days. You bring me back to old-school youtube. You ROCK!

I dunno if we are connected in a way but every time I think of searching for a recipe or maybe an idea, you make a video around it…. I literally had bought rice paper last week and was thinking of what should I do with it 😊

Thank you for making this one. Maybe if you have more ideas you can make a rice paper part 2 video 💖💖💖

there are two kinds of rice paper – one is with rice flour and the other uses a lot of tapioca flour. If you use the rice flour ones you will get better results for things like the pizzas and anything crispy.

Oh me too! I put fish sauce on almost everything, and I have different types because to me they have different flavors. I have never met anyone else who wasn't Vietnamese and was obsessed with fish sauce 😂, but it really is so good and is game changing in the kitchen.

OMG! I love your channel….its great fun and very informative. The rice paper pizza encouraged me to send my thanks for doing what you do. I live on a sailboat in Washington State and would do something like you're doing if I knew anything about computers…lol. I bet the cruisers of the world would enjoy Cooking with Prudence…that's my boats name
