Hello 👋🏻 I’m adding this comment as a reminder to myself, as well as to maybe help others. Before I meal plan, it’s a good idea to have a master list of meals I’m capable of making and actually enjoy eating. This way after I see what I have on hand, I can check my master to see what I can make with them. Some people, 🙋🏻‍♀️, get decision fatigue and in the moment may forget they know how to make stuffed peppers 😅. So by going to the master list, the decision is already made for them. I hope that makes sense.
I hope you know how helpful your channel has been. It encouraged me to give Aldi another shot. Where I use to live, it wasn’t that great, but in my new home, it’s been a go to! The way you break things down makes it easier to stay on track. You definitely help families struggling to keep good meals on their tables with your helpful information and guidance.
Loved the last little bit where you shared about the book you read to be more present and that you shared you have so many ideas. You have a squirrel brain 😂 I feel like most creative people do and you definitely qualify. It is hard to harness the squirrel sometimes, I get it. Sometimes I’m the multitasking queen and other times I’m in overload and need to slow down and take some me time. Happy you’re finding something that helps with that. Good on you for taking care of you!

Hi Laura, love your videos, the only thing I do, is stocked up when things are on sale, also I use my daughter account with instacart to by from Jetro, a restaurant supply store, I save a lot on meat, by the boxes, and the cheese prices amazing!!

My best advice for treat shopping is to hit up the 75% or more after holiday sales. The unreal dairy free peanut butter cups and coconut bars are $15 regular a box or $12.99 at Costco. Instead buy the Easter or Christmas version at local store for $5. Gluten free and other specialty things also follow seasonal and it’s the same thing as the regular non holidays! My daughter also found a cute toy for less then $1.

I’m sorry I didn’t catch this live but I still enjoyed the content. I feel that we are living in a time that we all should be concerned about saving money and not wasting food. I’m thankful that there are so many young women on YouTube making these very informative videos.
