Love all the Easter decorations! I made Easter baskets for my grown son until he moved out of state. When I worked, I used to make baskets for coworkers; I just enjoy doing it so much.

For YEARS I scoffed at the price of those roast kits. But now with meat prices being what they are, the kit really IS a deal! The final product looked great. 😁πŸ₯©

Is the added 15-20min for frozen meat counted IN ADDITION to the whole time, or the time for each pound of meat?

I imagine the meal could be stretched if one wanted to serve bread and butter or rolls with it. But I'm w/you on the kit's serving count. I don't see six servings (even w/bread, I'd probably only stretch it to five total).

I'm ABSOLUTELY the guy who would haul the Instant Pot on a roadtrip. Not only for the motel room, but if one finds a picnic area w/working electricity, one could cook outdoors (which I love to do).

Congrats on crossing down into only one pack a day. I don't smoke, but I've known multiple people who ended up quitting, who began by not smoking inside.πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜πŸ’ͺ🏻

Oh, and that's absolutely the first and last time that tray will ever be used as a serving platter for a roast beef dinner. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜Š I know it's a tray, but I was just pleasantly surprised at your resourcefulness in doing that. And anytime I can use up leftover takeout soy sauce packets, I'm very pleased. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ₯©πŸ₯•πŸ§…πŸ₯”

You know what tutorial we really need? I am NOT complaining about the cooking! But the tutorial we really need is how to stay positive and be resourceful when life is being a butt.

Thanks for our Easter visit Marc. What a festive setup at Steve’s Parents house and a beautiful family photo . Watching you and Steve making the best of your first married Easter together at the hotel shows what a strong and loving couple you are. Take care.πŸ’•

Six people! πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚. I love those labels. It reminds me of Brian Regan’s bit about serving size…
β€œ2 Fig Newtons. I eat them by the sleeve!”
It did look delicious, though…for two adults and a child.😁
That is GREAT about the smoking being down to a pack. Another positive consequence of this whole debacle.
The Easter looked niceβ€”including the nice decorations. I think I spotted the Christmas cork tray under some of those bunnies!
Hope the move went/is going well! ❀

Good luck with the smoking! My husband and I are in the same boat with wanting to quit soon…ish….lol. Its so hard!! I wonder how many people on your floor stuck their heads outside in the hallway to try and figure out where those delicious smells were coming from?? 🀭 And also, your parents look like lovely people! Please tell your mom that her Easter dinner table was wonderful!

Enjoyed this video. Steve your Mom’s decorations were awesome. I see your Mom makes Easter baskets like me. I have been making Easter baskets for my grown children. My Mom always told me when something happens it is always for the best and I truly believe that. I believe that for the two of you. Marc the meal looked delicious and I wish I could have had a taste.
