I love Cantonese Cuisine. Some of my favorites are: Lobster in Supreme Sauce, Shrimp and Walnuts, Beef Chow Fun, Roast Duck, Soy Sauce Chicken with a side of Scallion-Ginger Oil, Steamed Whole Fish, Clams in Black Bean Sauce, Beef Westlake Soup. Charsu Pork, Hong Kong style Dim Sum (Su Mai, BBQ Pork Bao, Chicken Feet, Har Gow, etc.), Fried Rice, and most Clay Pot dishes. – As far as the Hong Kong/Kawloon style diners go; my favorite is ARCADIA GARDEN just south of Huntington Drive on Baldwin Avenue. I love their Congee, for breakfast (they open at 5AM), and their menu is huge with dishes ranging from Pigs Feet in Noodles, to Spaghetti in sweet Tomato Sauce, to German Eisebein, to French Steak, and Tomato Soup, (and they are open until 1AM… WOW).
