I just made these just now and I want to say "Wow" what an easy recipe. The sauce is so easy to make and goes so well with these baked chicken wings. This is definitely my GO TO recipe for Korean style chicken wings and healthy too. No messing about with deep frying and cleaning up the stove later. Thank you Chef John! 👍👍👍
Followed Chef John's recipe to a T and these wings came out friggin awesome! Great flavor, the coating came out super crunchy and had a nice taste to it. Going to reheat left overs in the air fryer tomorrow
I made this recipe today it is great, but I would make sure you dry the chicken so that it can be crispy and also do not use any salt at all, as I did and it was very salty but yet delicious Also the baking powder does leave a slight taste to the food Not sure how to describe it (It could’ve been also the baking soda that made it super salty)
I think I may have added way to much baking powder. I went to use my 1/2 TBSP (4 time to equal 2 TBSP) but instead used the 1 TBSP 2x and the 1/2 TBSP 2 or 3x, yikes! UT is 109 degrees outside i I decided to bake! My brain is boiling and I think that is where one of two mistakes played in. One baking in the heat and mis-measuring. Proof will be in the eating , lol. Wish me luck!!!

Am one of a fan your recipe since 17 years ago
The way this guy trails off each sentence in the same tone is annoying.

I tried your recipe, and it came out GREAT! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside!!
Ahh and here's me making this from memory. I used soda. That's what I get for not double checking.
I think it was Chef Kemji who invented that fantastic baking powder method. I’m always shocked at how crispy the baked wings turn out!

Как же давно я смотрел это видео)
Huh. Would this also work for Asian recipes which require frying chicken pieces?
I am sorry, but I would rather do legs and thighs as I really love chicken.
Excellent ❤️
Fire!
"You are the boss of your sauce toss!". Lol! Love it!!

03:28 I cant unsee the little honey siracha man staring up at me
there will be a chemical aftertaste because of the backing powder
This. Was. Awesome! Easy, quick, and delicious. Adding recipe to Recipe Box. This one is a keeper!
Corn starch > baking powder > baking soda LOL
can i substitue sriracha with tabasco?
There is 2 eyeballs in your Sriracha. 👁👁
Yum!
Too long in the oven. Meat will be dried out. Otherwise thanks.
I love that chef john took a bite and then rubbed a half eaten wing on the pile so no one else can enjoy, I'd do that:D
Way too much salt
you didn't mention anything about aluminum in the powder????

Do not use that much salt!! Disgusting amount. 1 tsp at the most. Baking powder works well but still looks nothing like the video.
I really tried getting through this; the voice inflections was too much
