I love this. My local place used to make this with honey and fresh green chillis. They changed the recipe and use chilli flakes now, I'm guessing golden syrup as well, I could taste something was different but couldn't figure out what. It's not quite as nice as it was but the difference isn't massive. Looking forward to getting your book!
