If you don't want to sear the meat, you can just add some beef bouillon and a little fish sauce. Fish sauce is very salty, so be aware.
I love your recipes, so simple but bursting with flavors. You have an oil sprayer that works really well. Where did you get it? I have not been able to get one that works.

Thanks Flo! I've made this 牛腩 dish before, but you really simplified it down as per your motto! Others say to add daikon, star anise, potato… which are all delicious, but it is the simple core stuff that we need to be reminded of most.
My score at the store today was pork chops for 50% off for a family pack. That's easy. Transfer them to a few ziplock bags in some marinade in the fridge, then some into the freezer if I want. No problema! Thanks Flo, always a pleasure.
