I'm so glad I'm not the only person who makes their own rolls for sliders! Sometimes I feel like a crazy person, but it's so easy, and I make 3 9×13 pans of rolls at a time, and then I freeze the extras for another day.
And this is exactly the motivation to get up and start working on the peaches I just bought from a local farm stand. We were too busy to do peaches last year, and we really missed having peach jam and pie/cobbler filling at the ready! I'm so looking forward to enjoying them!

Hi Becky! When you were talking about your bread rising and if you should change your yeast….please don't forget that you'd added the melted butter to your bowl BEFORE you added your yeast. I have found that adding fat almost always inhibits the yeast…at least the speed of the reaction before it activates. Your yeast might just be perfectly fine; I think you just drowned it a bit temporarily. 🙂 Since you move at the speed of light, I thought you might need a reminder about that one step. Happy cooking and baking and canning and gardening in your new home. I'm always soooo happy to see your videos pop up!

Becky, next time you want fine cabbage, try my mom's trick. Cut your cabbage into chunks small enough to fit into your blender. Put some cold water in the blender, add a few chunks of cabbage. Don't over stuff! Pulse until chopped fine, but not mush! Pour into mesh seiv, and drain well. Add your dressing. Very easy!

You are an inspiration. Used to do a baking day once a week; bread, cookies, sweet rolls, cake.
You could get smaller diameter pie dishes to make Josh his apple pie.
I know there are 6 inch pie plates.

Thank you, you are inspiring! I can't wait to try the hand pies. I've always seen fried pies but I never wanted to fry them. I hate frying in the house. We usually try to do frying outside because of the greasy smoke that infiltrates the house. Anyway, I never tried baking them so I will!

I am in love with your kitchen! So bright and beautiful! I also love your spices on the ledge there. Can you share again the link to the storage containers you used for the baked oatmeal❤️

For your dough microwave a cup water till hot the put your covered bowl with the dough in the microwave to set in there. It creates a warmer environment for the dough to raise quickly

Try pureed pumpkin maple cinnamon brown sugar in the baked oatmeal. Here in Florida we have fish fry's and we have the Cole slaw like u made. we also have an apple banana salad: cubed apples and bananas braced in lemon juice, sugar, mayo, raisins or dried cherries. Was my mom's favorite fish fry salad.

How come we don't hear about baby anymore. Where's your MILK. Your rolls yeast was put in last over the oil and the yeast didn't get a chance to start before you added other ingredients. Microwave takes all the food value away so it's like your eating nothing. Do you have a thyroid problem .
