3:48 – lesson learned. any "pre-packaged meat" at Aldi (like burgers, etc.) – RUN AWAY….terrible taste, full of junk…go fresh when you can. Now their frozen veggies, GREAT! And they dehydrate well!
    I am learning so much!

Between Dollar Tree/Dollar General and Aldi, unless i didn't live with other people, i would be fine with 2 1/2 dogs for under $50 a week. THANK YOU! (oh, and i can't live without my instant pot anymore!)

Im Australian but I love Chilli Dogs, i like my chilli a lil bit saucy so the sauce coats all the hotdog and just a bit of cheese on top. I used to always buy Stagg brand Chilli but I think they stopped selling it cause I haven't seen it in ages.

These videos are especially helpful for those living in food deserts – I had no idea dollar tree even had half the ingredients you include in some of your recipes. Genius idea to use the Burger Patties as ground beef for the chili!

I'n not on a dollar tree budget but I find your videos so helpful, informative, and enjoyable to watch. You have taught me so much- how to save money on food, how to stretch ingredients, how to repurpose food, and also some great recipes. You never know what life will throw at you, so I appreciate how prepared you have made me feel should I ever be in that situation.
And I love that you're taking the stigma away from cheaper food options. Everything you make looks delightful and well balanced, and you have transformed my way of thinking that healthy and tasty meals don't have to cost a lot.
    Thank you so much

You know you're an adult when you love a special grocery store. you also know you're an adult when the same place remodels and you don't know where anything is at and it makes you sad, HAHAHAHAHA!

I've never had the DT beef patties. I've been reluctant to try them based on a few videos I've seen. But I think they would be a good option for chili. Usually when I am making our "budget chili," I opt for a three-bean chili with kidney, black, and pinto beans, tomatoes, and a bag of the pepper-onion mix. Plus whatever seasoning I have on hand. Yummy and cheap!
