I don't know how you peel and cut potatoes like that lol. My grandmother would peel and cut them the same way. Me if I tried? I would be missing a few fingers lol

Oh…. you brought back a memory….. watching your hands. I can see Mama breading cube steaks and frying in the cast iron ๐ณ. We would have gravy, mash taters and fried cabbage. Mama would sprinkle red pepper flakes on the cabbage.yummy. thanks for the memories. You cook so much like Mama did.Everything always looks so ๐
Hi Falon, happy Wednesday. ๐ I've always found that after doing the breading on the cube steaks, or chicken or whatever, pop them into the fridge fir at least half an hour. This 'sets' the breading which makes it less likely to fall off during the cooking.
I was wondering if you have ever cooked lima beans and rice? That's a southern staple in our house.

I love cube steak I do mine the same except I start with flour then egg and last panko bread crumbs and I make a milk gravy as well ๐ try the panko bread crumbs makes it so crispy ๐
