3rd time making this one. Don't use any other recipe. Great. Just for my taste, I double the chili powder, use the "better than bullion " brand beef stock So I can make it a little richer than the directions. I don't personally use the sugar, but it's good also with it and a big ole slab of buttery cornbread. Can't think of why I'd use another recipe

Even tho I've been making chili for EONS, there's always something I'm learning, like you not using oil to brown the meat AND using a Dutch oven pot instead of a slowcooker. This I will do today. Thank you AB, you are very entertaining & straightforward with recipe. Big Love from Black Diamond, Alberta, Canada!

You did it again! I just made this chili and IT IS DELICIOUS. I started everything from prep to finish and it was done so easily and quickly. My mom has dementia so I have to cook a lot. Your recipes are hearty, filling and last for many days. Thank you chef for your recipes from one AB to another AB!

To help keep hamburger from drying out when cooking – use just a little water w/ a little baking soda, mix together and mix into raw hamburger. Set hamburger aside for approx 20 mins then cook hamburger. Hamburger stays moist throughout the entire cooking time.

Hey AB, I made the Chili, but I made Turkey instead of Beef, but I used the same ingredients except for the beef stock. I used Turkey stock cause I used Turkey. It was swinging with flavor. Keep bringing those recipes.

The chili looks good but it just to thick. It ain't got no juice in it really. I don't like my chili like that. I need quite bit of juice because I like to eat mine with crackers, sour cream, cheese and green onion, so it becomes thicker when you add all the condiments. So soupy/thick is a must for me because it's just more savory to me like that..
