Paula, You are a genius! What a great gift idea! You have taught me SO much, and inspired me so many times! I have to buy another Paula Deen cookbook!! You're a tribute to Southern cooking!! Would you be so kind as to let us know where you bought that gorgeous black tunic top? Thank you, beautiful Paula!!
Haha! Paula you keep me laughing! You, Eddie and Theresa make a GREAT team! Love the compound butter idea! Now….who do I know that can whip me up a few jars? ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
I am LOVING her shirt and want to know where she got it?! And love love love the tradition of compound butters. My grandmother always had a few at her more formal dinners โค๏ธ
I've made a savory compound butter before, for spicing up corn on the cob. It had cayenne, or paprika I think, lime juice and cilantro. When I worked at Jack in the Box, they had (and still do) two "buttery jack" (classic and bacon swiss) burgers that has a "dollop" of herbed garlic butter on the top of a premium square-shaped beef patty. Let me tell you, those burgers were good, but that #herbedbutter#garlicbutter made them great! The quality of those #burgers were surprising for fast food imo. They even started selling "garlic fries" with this same warmed butter over the top lol. I've yet to try this special butter over steak, but now that's on my to-do list.๐ Edit: Paula, I #love this gift idea and have wanted to make a nice semi-homemade gift basket for my family/friends.
Just seeing this… great idea! I love the honey butter. Will try! I have a bunch of those little jars… somewhere! Lol! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ & Best dishes Paula!
Is there anything that u SHOULD NOT put into a compound butter? Like vinegar or fish sauce? Did u put raw garlic in or did u use roasted garlic? I made some the other day with a mixture of things I put into almost everything I cook. Butter roasted garlic green onion a small splash of hot oil and a splash of lemon juice. Yumo o. Oh and salt
Speaking of Uncle Bubbaโs……my girlfriends and I went to Tybee Island a few years ago on one of our girl trips, Loved it! We went to Uncle Bubbaโs 3 of the 4 nights we were there. I think I had the same fish dish each night!! I donโt like strong tasting fish but this was the best mild fish Iโve ever had! It was a blackened fish, I think and it was wonderful! Please make and give that recipe. Thank you so much for your videos and for Uncle Bubba! I met him there and was star stuck! ๐ฅฐ

I love Paula…. she is always so real…no fake flakes with this beautiful women.
You look great Paula.
You really need a new mixer, there are better ones with a slower start.
Love your mixer – what brand is it?
The Savannah bee company has honey sticks that could be added to the jar decoration for honey.
I can't watch you making gifts and continually licking your fingers. Love you Paula but …
Is this the same butter that is on your biscuits at your restaurant? If so itโs soooo good!
Thank you Paula I always make Christmas Gifts I'll be doing compound butter this year.
I love when she said whoโs ever Tongue youโre working with. ๐

Do you keep it out on the counter or in the fridge? How long it last?
paula be careful round the mixer… if you didn't have your fingers that close to the beaters you wouldn't hurt your nails…
Tupelo honey is the best.
