Calories actually dont matter its actually how your responds to food ans that will depend where you are and where you want to go. Calorie deficit yes wjll help you lose weight but it can be dangerous because what are you loosing fat , bone, water muscle mass ? The aim should be focused on fat loss this isnt done focused on calories. I have done it all and learned so much now im almost 60 lbs down not counting a thing

Made the jyros with chicken instead of beef because its all I had on hand. I didn't have pita so I made my own. That slight detour increased the total cook time to 1 hour instead of 30 but fresh pita is boss with those jyros.

Just made the flank Steak Gyros, they were amazing. I grilled mine, and they turned out great. Definitely a good quick recipe, but the sauce is probably good with 4-6 cloves instead of 8, the garlic was a bit overpowering.

Here is my take, dieting is pointless and fruitless unless you are going to eat like that for the rest of your life. Limiting your food and calculating your caloric intake daily is exhausting and if you do not stick to your diet for the rest of your life then the benefits of the diet are only temporary. personally I am of the mentality of eat what you want then push yourself harder in the gym. That way the results of the gym are permanent.

nice recipes, but no way these are done in 30 min w/o prior prep, having all the spices ready, the veggies washed and dried and peeled etc. It's like wok recipes, super fast to cook, but lots of stuff to prep.

But a lot of these things could be made and prepped on a Sunday and then put together easily in 30 min or less (except the pasta one).

Makes me think, how about a what to do with left overs series? Or 'cook this on the weekend and you'll have several more different meals prepped for the week'. It's often Taco time in my house, left over meat of any kind fried up crisp, good salsa and quac from the store, fresh chopped cilantro and what ever else you want, build your own, done.
