This wAs a wonderful interview and looking forward to making that recipe.
Do any of the Whole Foods or Sprouts in Austin carry your broths or any other products? I live in Georgetown outside of Austin go shopping there once a month.
Having worked for my State's Dept of Transport'n and volunteered to plow snow during weather events, I know what she means about developing one's own way of dealing with built-in prejudices. By the time I had driven as the only female during two blizzards, I had twenty big brothers who would've done anything for me, largely because I never asked to be spared any part of the job. I still have the "ugly stick" I had asked the machinist to make one night (a piece of 1/4" thick steel filed to a point) to break the ice off the steps up into my truck. I use it to hold my fireplace screen in place. Good memories.
Just saying after over 70 years of research it hasn't been proven that eating vegetables is better than eating meat.
Great interview!
I’m a lifelong Oregon (my great, great grandfather was Oregon Governor William Wallace Thayer)! I graduated from Gresham High School in 1986! I grew up exploring the Columbia River Gorge (I highly recommend the book “Curious Gorge by Scott Cook”)! My childhood buddy named Jed grew up to become the Clackamas County Fire Lieutenant. Cindy’s interview is so awesome for many reasons! Thanks Rip
Thanks Rip and Cindy, Brilliant interview loved all the content.
This is exactly what I need! A female plant based athlete with recipes 😊
Plant based and a PNW woman too?! Awesome! Shout out and thank you from Portland!
I love her! She’s so dynamic as well as a straight shooter and make this ez.
We have had soup for the past 3 nights – hooray for soup season!! ❤ from VT!
So inspiring! 🎉waving from Beaverton!
I never expected an interview with a female firefighter and her life to be so interesting and inspiring !
People do not like change. I learned that in 27 years of working at Social Services. Any change made at work was not appreciated. Four year vegan here😊I am retired
Loved this interview. Thank you both for your many years of service as both a first responder and health and wellness. 🙏🏼💚
As someone who is addicted to cheese and allergic to cashews. I am so happy it's not another cashew recipe. I get so tired of seeing all these delicious plant based recipes that I can't have and everyone is saying how easy it is to go plant-based. For someone with a cashews allergy it is so frustrating, almost every recreation for cheese or desserts has cashews.
