My mom used to make this and I always loved it. I forgot about it for a long time and just started making it again for my hubby. And then this popped up on my feed! Funny how that happens🌻. Thanks for your videos; I love them, and I learn too!❣️👍🏻

What type of potatoes do you use? Russett? If russet, do you peel them first? Or do you use whole potatoes or New potatoes?
Also, I will be cutting this receipe down as it is only me and have no family. So I don't know how many potatoes to use – I can make it for two servings to eat two days in a row. Rather then pounds, can you tell me how many potatoes to use if I am just making two servings?
It is sometimes VERY hard to cook for one on these online Youtube receipes. Some of us alone find cooking for one (from receipes very hard to figure out the right amounts,) Many people on their own just buy frozen dinners. Got NO friends nearby and anyway, we all take buses and cannot afford cars.

I love watching you cook and I am trying the recipes 😋. I would love a video on what staples you are "never" without, what is always on hand in your fridge and freezer, and how you store your dry goods!

This looks like something I could make. Thanks. Soup is good. It's like eat some, then eat a little more after while, then after that, eat a little more later. Eat some with some crackers, then eat some without crackers, till the whole pot is gone. Of course, you can't eat it all, there are probably some other people wanna eat too. Then they can tell you how good it was and that makes your heart shine like the sun because you've done something useful. Peace to all. 8 7 21

They used to make this all the time at school with peanut butter sandwiches! Loved it. We recreate at our house often. I wish we served real food in school again. Those were the days!

I teared up when I saw your recipe. My mother use to make this soup when we were children I just so enjoyed it. She also made a macaroni soup that contained beef and tomato juice. Our friends would always ask if she was making it. She always made plenty to share!. Not sure of the recipe because we lost her at a young age. But I am so happy to find this recipe! It looks just like my mamma's. God's love surround and protect you and your family❤

If your kids don't like corn then they don't eat 🤨 as parents we need to stop giving into the nonsense of our children, that's how I was brought up, I am so grateful and appreciative, it taught me humility and I'm saying this with love !

Oh yes, an oldie, but a goodie. I've eaten hamburger soup for over 50 years now. I didn't think one needed a recipe for it. I think it's rather self-explanatory. What ever veggie you have on hand, goes into the pot. And as with any soup, the longer you let it simmer, the better.

I literally grew up on this, my mom kept a pot on the stove for a week just add to it as the gardens gave, mom made it with a ham hocks cause we couldn’t afford meat but the town butcher save the soup bones for mom ( she passed away when I was only 10, so I never got to know her favorites. So you have a recipe for cream puffs? Mom made them I need a proven recippee

My Stepmom used to make this soup when I was younger all the time and I loved it. The only difference is she used diced tomatoes and a couple shakes of pica pepper sauce. It’s also really yummy with grilled cheese sandwich. 😋😋😋
