Last year I grew 275 garlic bulbs and only had two left to pick! The gophers ate the rest! For 7 years they didn't touch one. Lost some great types of garlic. I haven't had to buy garlic in over 10 years and wow is the price higher then ever. This year garlic is in a raised bed with wire at the bottom. Not fond of that but at least I will get a harvest! Great job young lady! We live in Leavenworth, Wa. We call it critter town. We have moles, gophers, voles, raccoons, skunks which eat our fruit along with momma bear and twins! Never have I had such a challenge gardening! Great job with your garlic! You are doing a great job!

I haven't heard you mention it yet so I'm hoping everything in your garden survived that heat dome. Supposedly another one coming up soon.?? Yikes.

Becky you have an awesome harvest going on there!! Great job lady👏🏼♥️ listen you definitely do have a spot to dry your garlic..where you have it on the ground, look up!! Put an eye hook on the wall and sting some twine all the way along that wall to the corner and make clusters of garlic and hang it up!! Then you’ll have your walking area freed up too!😀😀 just a suggestion!! Loving your energy and enthusiasm Becky !! Big hugs from me to you 🇨🇦🌻♥️

I grew garlic for the first time. Wasn’t enough to last us long but I plan on planting more this fall. I’m unorganized with labeling too so it’s my goal moving forward.
I’ve ordered seed garlic for elephant garlic and I’m excited to try it. I live in South Carolina so I’m going to try to grow mostly soft neck

Fantastic garlic harvest! I would not recommend freezing garlic. It really lose the garlic flavor. After curing remember to save your largest garlic heads to plant this fall. The larger the clove you plant the larger the garlic head will grow. I just love your enthusiasm and happy gardening!

Great job! I grew 275 heads of garlic. Harvest is usually 1st wk of August. This year, scapes and heads of garlic were a month early. Regardless, the harvest is always so much fun because you really never know how big each head of garlic will be. Enjoy your bounty!!
